The Upper Cumberland Child Advocacy Center (UCCAC) is a one-stop facility for children who have been victims of abuse. The duties of the UCCAC include but are not limited to: forensic interviewing, medical exams, therapy services, court preparation, case tracking, and family advocacy. We provide these services to children who victims of drug endangerment, physical abuse, and sexual abuse. The UCCAC serves the 7 counties of the 13th Judicial District: Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, and White. The CAC also provides safety education classes in the school system and parenting classes.

Eligibility Requirements

Children are typically referred for services for to our agency through the Department of Children's Services or through law enforcement. However, if schools are looking for safety education or education around personal body safety, we accept requests from schools for those services. We also accept some outside referrals for parenting classes, call for more information.
