This program places Master’s level therapists in select Cocke County schools to provide mental health services directly to students. Therapists can provide assessments and referrals and work with teachers to best structure classrooms to help students stay in regular classrooms. In addition, these liaisons are tasked with providing ongoing prevention programs for both students and teachers.
Eligibility Requirements
Students must attend a selected school and receive a referral from a teacher, school counselor, principal, parent or a HRMC IST clinic staff member.
