Storybook Trails is a wonderful way families and young children can take advantage of being outdoors while increasing a child’s early literacy skills! Storybook Trails is the brainchild of a Tennessee Park Ranger several years ago. Since then Tennessee State Parks has partnered with the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation to expand the initiative to incorporate 21 parks across the state, 18 are state parks.
