Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired: Independent Living Program
The Tennessee Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired Independent Living Program is designed to help individuals of ALL AGES accommodate for severe vision loss and increase their independence in the home and community. Rehabilitation instructors are knowledgeable of resources available to educate caregivers and children about blindness, how the visual impairment can affect development and providing guidance in assisting the child in meeting realistic expectations.
An individual must have a significant disability related to the loss of vision.
