Project BASIC (Haywood, Lauderdale, Fayette Counties): Project Better Attitudes and Skills in Children (BASIC) is a school based intervention and prevention service for grades K-3rd grade. The Child Developmental Specialist works in the school and provides activities including mental health education, early identification and intervention,teacher consulation and acts as a liason between families, schools and mental health providers.
