Child Advocacy Center of the Cumberlands
Children’s Center of the Cumberlands, a child advocacy center, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that was established in 2000. CCC later became an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance (NCA) in 2005 and remains accredited. CCC provides a place of help and hope to abused and neglected children and their non-offending family members. Multi-disciplinary services provided include: mental health, medical, advocacy, forensic interviews, and prevention education.
The Children's Center of the Cumberlands serves all children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and psychological harm. In additional to the child victim, therapy and support services are also available to any non-offending family member with no charge.
