Comprehensive Child and Family Treatment (CCFT) - In Home
This program is for at-risk children ages 4 to 17 in need of mental health stabilization to prevent out of home placement in a hospital, residential or foster home. CCFT focuses on caregiver and child relations and behaviors to improve functioning in the home and community. Therapeutic and skills training interventions are used to reduce risk and foster individual and family strengths and utilization of community supports.
Child is at imminent risk of being placed out of the home due to behaviors associated with a covered DSM-V diagnosis. The child does not currently qualify for a higher level of care but without immediate intensive intervention will likely be placed out of the home. Traditional outpatient services have failed to meet the needs of the child/family.
